Looking For Guidance

Dear Lord,

Our family is going through a transition, and I know that You are present in that transition.  You know the steps that we need to take in the next few weeks.  You are putting things into place, and we are moving forward as You lead.  You have blessed and You have renewed.  Lord, continue that renewal on a daily basis.  Lord, make our family stronger.  It is important that we keep our focus on the One that created our family, because You are what keeps our family strong.

Sincerely,

Wade Jinright

Big Job

Dear God,

I have been given a big job, and that is giving care to the sick and injured. It is overwhelming at times to take care of these people, but I have been placed by Your providence in this position. Lord, give me the strength to carry this burden of people's lives. I am learning my craft. Lord, help me to improve and retain what I have learned. A life is so precious, help me not to take them for granted. My life in You is so rich.

Sincerely,
Wade Jinright

You Know

Dear God,

Lord, why do we make a big deal about the insignificant things. We should be more concerned the things of our heart and soul. Without Your Son, we would be lost and uncaring about the souls of others. I know that we should get to know who the person is before we bring out the mob. Lord, You have established the ways in which a church should be run, so let us follow Your ways. Thank You, Lord, for knowing all things. Most importantly, the heart of man.

Sincerely,
Wade Jinright

Fear Rightly Placed

Dear God,

We all say that we fear something, but I think the thing that we fear the most is the unknown. We have no way of knowing what will happen tomorrow, but to a certain degree we have to be prepared. "And He said unto His disciples, 'Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.' "(Luke 12:22) When Your Son said this to His disciples, He was telling them not to be anxious. Then Paul, the apostle echoed the same thought in Philippians, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."(Phil. 4:6) The only way to approach a new day is down on our knees before You. Without You, we are throwing caution to the wind, and being anxious about the outcome.

Sincerely,
Wade Jinright

Much Has Happened

Dear God,

So much has happened in the past couple of weeks, but Lord, You know what is going on. You will see all these things to the intended end and in Your timing. Thank You for those that have been sent along side to carry the burdens that we have. We know that we cannot accomplish these things on our own, but through Your almighty power we can accomplish anything. We look forward to what You still have planned for this family.

Lord, we are worshiping You while we wait, because You are the continued joy of our lives. Lord, protect my family as I go into the Navy. Thank You for all You have done.

Sincerely,
Wade Jinright
