Dear God,
We all say that we fear something, but I think the thing that we fear the most is the unknown. We have no way of knowing what will happen tomorrow, but to a certain degree we have to be prepared. "And He said unto His disciples, 'Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.' "(Luke 12:22) When Your Son said this to His disciples, He was telling them not to be anxious. Then Paul, the apostle echoed the same thought in Philippians, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."(Phil. 4:6) The only way to approach a new day is down on our knees before You. Without You, we are throwing caution to the wind, and being anxious about the outcome.
Sincerely,
Wade Jinright

Much Has Happened
Dear God,
So much has happened in the past couple of weeks, but Lord, You know what is going on. You will see all these things to the intended end and in Your timing. Thank You for those that have been sent along side to carry the burdens that we have. We know that we cannot accomplish these things on our own, but through Your almighty power we can accomplish anything. We look forward to what You still have planned for this family.
Lord, we are worshiping You while we wait, because You are the continued joy of our lives. Lord, protect my family as I go into the Navy. Thank You for all You have done.
Sincerely,
Wade Jinright

What You Have Done For Us
Dear God,
How can we express our gratitude for what you have done for our country? We can turn our eyes and hearts back to You. Our money and monuments do not have the slogan "In Ourselves We Trust", but "In God We Trust." Have we forgotten Who allowed to found this great country? I would say that we have, and that we are headed down a path of destruction by saying, "Look what we did." Man prides himself in what he has done, and it saddens the heart of God. God, I pray for the protection of Your people, and may we proclaim the reason for our freedom is You.
Sincerely,
Wade Jinright

Father of All
Dear God,
We honor Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13) You are our Heavenly Father, and as such I want to say Happy Father's Day to You. You have done far more than any earthly father has done, but by doing that You have set the example for all fathers. Thank you for teaching us how to pray and live.
Sincerely,
Wade Jinright

Time Stops For No Man
Dear God,
We are part of time, and it is always moving forward. We all wish for more time in the day, but unfortunately we only have what we have been given. Lord, each moment that You bless us with is precious. I ask that You help us to see the importance of the time that You have given us. I know that so many people have a limited amount of time on this earth, and so we have to make sure to give them the Gospel while they inhabit this mortal world. There are events in our lives that edging closer, and some we look forward to while others not so much. Lord, help us to have the strength to take on the tasks that lay ahead. What time do you have? You really don't know, but you best use what you do have and do so wisely. Lord, thank You for the time that You have allowed us to be here.
Sincerely,
